The instructions below are to be followed once the VIDA on Web subscription has been purchased through the Volvotechinfo.com website.
How to install VIDA on WEB:
Download VidaOnWebInstall75.exe to your desktop.
Double click zip file and run VIDAonWebInstall75.exe. (NOTE: You may have to extract files prior to running install.)
Click Install to begin loading VIDA on Web. This will install 3 icons on your desktop; VIDA Configuration, VIDA Admin and VIDA on Web.

Once the installation is complete click OK.

Log on to the Novell Identity Manager website to change your temporary password.

From your desktop double click on VIDA Configuration.
a. Under the Location tab click on Internet (click on it even if it is selected) and click Save. You will get a message detailing the save. Click OK.
b. The tab Proxy Settings is only completed if you use a proxy server to access the internet.
c. Nothing is needed for update on the Utilities tab. Click close.
From your Desktop click on VIDA Admin.(Orange VIDA Icon)
a. Click on the Subscription tab.
b. Under Name click on your subscription. This will bring up your subscription details on the right side of the screen.
c. On the Properties tab you will need to click on the Activated box

d. Click on User.
e. Move your user name/ID to the left side and click Save.

f. Close VIDA Admin.
You can now click on VIDA on Web icon on your desktop to begin using VIDA.
After you have logged on to VIDA on WEB, you may time out if you do not actively use the site for about 30 minutes. If you are asked for a network password at this point, use your VIDA User ID and Password.
