Geneva, Switzerland -- 2002 marks 75 years of automobile production for the Volvo Car Corporation. With that in mind, Volvo has set out to create one of their most luxurious offers ever with the new S80 75th Anniversary Edition.
The new S80, introduced at the Geneva International Auto Show is outfitted much like Volvo's S80 Executive Q-ship, but with many key upgrades throughout including enhanced rear seating, TV screens in the back of each seatback, claret trim panels and gear-lever knob, two wireless IR headphones, an umbrella holder inside the trunk lid and more.
Outwardly, the S80 75th Anniversary Edition is most easily recognizeable by the use of the large 18-inch 'Thor' alloy wheels, first seen on the all new XC90.
The S80 75th Anniversary Edition is perhaps the most luxurious Volvo ever and offers the ultimate for the most discerning business person. The offering is a technological tour de force and a fitting tribute to Volvo's milestone.
