hi all,
firstly, sorry for writing in english, my written Norwegian is terrible..

Ok i have a 2000 v70 that i imported from Germany a while back, go it registered in Norway last year and all was fine untill the ETM (electronic throttle module) died on me last month. Frydenbø in Bergen wated 8000kr to fix the problem, but i ended up imported the part from the uk for 1500kr.
so...
i replaced the etm, but i still needs it to be programmed.
frydenbø seems to have taken the month free for a holiday (or in order to count all of their money)... and i cant find anywhere else in bergen that will reprogram the ETM.

so... any ideas where i can get it done on short notice in the Bergen area?
....willing to pay extra of course ;-)

cheers

You can go to Autoteknikk AS!
It lies in Loddefjord and the street name is Nedbergeveien 13!

They are the best in Norway whit Volvo! :)

Yes, it takes about 3minutes.
But, is the car possible to drive? maybe a stupid question, but i guess you have to get the car to a dealer anyway...

thanks for the replies, not sure if the car is driveable, it starts but hangs at about 2000rpm i can crawl it to the a dealer or in the worst case, try to get a trailer to take it there.
either way, i will get it to the dealer if i have to, we want to go on holiday so i`ll do what it takes.

cheers

You might already know this, but Frydenbø has three locations in Bergen. If one can't help, perhaps one of the others can?

Minde: Minde Allé 35
Åsane: Åsamyrane 82

...and the final one I see is same address as the previously mentioned Autoteknikk AS.

well i took the car to frydenbø in loddefjord and met chria16 (who posted the tip above) he did the job straight away, and was rewarded with an icy cold 6 pack of beer for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you so much to everyone who replied, and especially to chria16 who`s awesomeness is too great to comprehend :-)

cheers
